Welcome to the first installment of the I2 Photoblogger Spotlight.  Here I’ll spotlight photographers and their photo blogs.  The first I2 Photoblogger Spotlight is San Francisco photographer Rafael Morales of RM Studio.  His photoblog is called  Peek into a Photographer.  Why Rafael?  Because he is real and he’s a great photographer.  I’ve peeked at his moblog, what they call them there over at textamerica, for a number of years now.  At first it seemed he posted a lot of behind the scene photos from his photo shoots.  Which isn’t bad considering the type of photo shoots he’s hired to do.  Let’s just say I’d be an assistant of his any day : )

Anyways, he got to know some of the regulars on TA and even went to TA meet and greets in Florida and New York.  He really has done a nice job reaching out to others and seemed, at least to me, to be the de facto photog on TA.

Rafael also appears to have built a big following, with 3,161 comments and 118,243 views.  However, I wish he would start up another photoblog on another site, say a hosted WordPress blog.  The pictures on his TA blog are small, and for some of the older posts, you just see the TA logo.  And when you click on the logo, you are referred back to the thumbnail page.

Maybe he will.  His last post included the text “Something for whats left of TA….”
